UFC 284 is coming up soon as Dana White’s company travel to Australia for a thrilling night of high intensity action, but first Lewis and Spivak will face off in Sin City.

Spivak has won his last two UFC bouts and boasts a 6-3-0 record as he looks to climb up the rankings and move into the top ten.

UFC Fight Night 218: What has been said?
Speaking ahead of the initial fight, Spivak said: “I’m still Sergey, I’m still not going to go ahead of myself and say ‘it doesn’t matter what happens in this fight’.

“I’m not going to look over this opponent. I’m going to concentrate on him for now, and then after the win I can see what happens.

“Of course I’m looking for the top 10.

“I really like training here in Vegas, I like the sparring partners here, I like the places where I can train here.

“A lot of the fights are here so I don’t have to always switch the climate and adjust to that. I like being here in Vegas.”

Lewis meanwhile has slammed referee Dan Miragliotta for what he perceived to be two early stoppages in his last two defeats.

He said: “They act like they didn’t see the last fight day. They’re going to stop the fight all early and this and that, and they’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t know if Derrick still has it.’ Man, come on.

“Dan Miragliotta or whatever his name is, he’s got a conspiracy out on me.
